Ray Varady has worked in manufacturing for 25 years, first as a machinist and then in the machine tool industry in service, applications, and sales on a regional and national level. Ray has conducted business with virtually every machine tool dealer and OEM in the country at one point or another giving him a unique perspective of the industry and a personal vision of bringing that experience home to the St. Louis manufacturing community to spark growth and competitiveness.

On July 1st 2007 Ray Varady announced the opening of V-TEC Machine Tools Inc., a machine tool dealer headquartered in Collinsville, Illinois (greater St. Louis area). As V-TEC’s creator and President, Varady brings experience in machining, programming and service combined with sales and marketing experience of CNC machine tools on a local, regional and national level. V-TEC represents the Hyundai-Kia and Hanwha line-ups of world-class CNC Lathes, and the finest Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers, as well as the Baileigh and Kent USA Product lines. V-TEC also offers productivity advancement products such as Phasep coalescors, Liquid Ice synthetic coolant products and bar feeding & chip conveyor equipment. Other lines are being added at this time.
